Important Information for Non-Vehicle Applications: If you are applying for a permit for skip bins, sea containers, or other non-vehicle-related items (such as placing materials or equipment on the verge, road, or within parking bays), please visit our Work Zone Permit page for full details and application information. These applications are managed by the Town’s Compliance team.

Parking Work Zone Permits

A Parking Work Zone Permit is required when works or activities will temporarily occupy or obstruct a parking bay or part of a public road within the Town of Victoria Park. Applicants may also request optional Work Zone signage where exclusive use of the approved work zone is required during the permit period.

These permits are commonly issued for construction works, deliveries, maintenance works and other trade activities that require the temporary use of on-street parking.

Parking Work Zone Permits are issued through the Town's ePermits system.

Please note that a Parking Work Zone Permit does not guarantee that a parking bay will remain available, as unauthorised vehicles may still occupy the space.

Optional Work Zone Signage

Where a Parking Work Zone Permit has been approved, applicants may request temporary Work Zone signage to reserve a section of road or parking bays adjacent to the work site for the exclusive use of vehicles associated with the approved works.

Work Zone signage is optional and is recommended where exclusive access to the approved work zone is required during the permit period.

To ensure the signage is installed and removed in accordance with the Town's standards, the Town will arrange the installation prior to the commencement of the approved permit period and the removal once the approved works have been completed.

The cost of installing and removing the Work Zone signage is based on the Town's contractor rates and will be invoiced separately from the Parking Work Zone Permit fees.
