Stories of the Strip: Heraldic Migration Liberation Acts Party

Past Event

Stories of the Strip is part of heraldic Migration Liberation Acts (HMLA) is a community art project where community members will be encouraged to make collaborative banners of heraldic imagery.

The title is a play on the Immigration Restriction Act 1901 and a celebration of the many stories, myths, legends, and wonder behind our local communities and businesses. These heraldic artworks will come from community stories and conversations about hope, freedom, and connection.

Hosted by local artists Natalie de Rozario and Gok-Lim Finch, the night promises to be full of local history, community vibes, and a fun, curious spirit of connection!

Come celebrate the unveiling of the banners and the beginnings of a long, beautiful community project.
