Since being elected to council in October 2017 I have thoroughly enjoyed representing the town and working with my fellow elected members to make Vic Park the best it can be.

I have recently left my role in the arts sector and have returned to university where I am studying a Masters of Public Health. My interest is specifically in the areas of social inequities in health care and ways in which policies across all areas and all levels of government can work to improve our lives and communities. I have tertiary qualifications in History, Anthropology and Education. I also have professional experience working with schools and communities in the arts sector and working in conflict resolution and fraud investigation in the health sector.

I have lived in Vic Park since 2002 and have chosen to raise my family and rescue dog in our wonderful community. I love how walkable our neighbourhood is, and can often be seen moving around the town on foot or on my bike. I have served for many years on the Victoria Park Primary school board, the Vic Park Little Athletics club committee, the Belmont Little Athletics Centre committee, and many years ago when my children were younger, I was president of Honeypot Playgroup.

On council I represent the Town at the WA Local Government Association South East Metropolitan Zone as the chair of that group. I also represent the town as a councillor at Tamala Park Regional Council.

Member of:

  • Policy Committee
  • Chief Executive Officer Recruitment and Performance Review Committee
  • Tamala Park Regional Council
