The Year of the Snake is fast approaching, join us to celebrate at the Lunar New Year Night Markets!

When: 6:30-9PM Friday 7 February

Where: From 328 Albany Highway

It will be a fun-filled, vibrant evening of arts, crafts, food, activities and live entertainment. 

The wood Snake brings wisdom, elegance and transformation to the year ahead, heralding a time of growth and creativity.

Fancy some dinner before or after the festivities? Don’t forget to make a booking to avoid disappointment! There will be additional food and beverage options available from food trucks; Chubby Dumplings, Ting Mos, Uyghur Food Truck, Wuyi Tea Lab, and The Little Phap

Road Closure Information

Lunar New Year Road Closures

This event will involve a partial road closure of Albany Hwy (from King George St to McMaster St) and of Harper Street (from Albany Hwy to the Broken Hill Bottle Shop).

These roads will be closed from 4.15pm- 10.30pm to allow for bump in and out of the event. During this period, all vehicles will need to be removed from street parking and there will not be any vehicle access (other than event service vehicles).

Planning your journey?

There is bike parking available on Albany Highway outside the Broken Hill Hotel and Lost Reality and on Harper Street across from the bottle shop.

Need an ACROD bay? Look for the designated bays outside the Vic Park Digital Hub.
