The park is open year-round for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy, and hosts various community events throughout the year. Visitors enjoy landscaped gardens, floral displays, extensive birdlife, sculptures and sprawling open spaces across 53 Ha.
The park boasts many facilities including free electric barbecues, gazebos, toilets, dual use paths, and playground. BBQs, gazebos and picnic spaces cannot be reserved for private events, and are available on a first come, first served basis.
The Swan Shell, a graceful, curved structure designed to reflect the movement of a swan in flight, can be reserved for wedding ceremonies or other events.
