National Reconciliation Week

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

In 2026, NRW is celebrated from 27 May - 3 June, and the theme is ALL IN FOR RECONCILIATION.

The Town is involved in activities leading up to, during, and after the official celebration dates. During this time, you may see banners and signage around the Town with artwork adapted from Kamsani Bin Salleh's work on the new McCallum Park Active Area.

You will also see videos in which Town of Vic Park people discuss the meaning and impact of delivering Welcome to Country statements in language.
