part of the revitalisation of the Burswood Station East precinct, the Town of Victoria Park is planning to upgrade Stiles-Griffith Reserve to create a safe and welcoming public place for the local community.
Over the past few months, the Town has been busy progressing the detailed design of the park upgrade.
We would like to check in with the community and ask for your feedback on our plans so far, which include:
- A multi-purpose basketball half court with opportunities for outdoor recreation and community events.
- Composite timber seating walls facing the park with ping pong tables.
- More trees, improved lighting and a new, accessible footpath.
- Opportunities for public art.
We expect the upgrades to be rolled out over the next few financial years, and your feedback will help us to prioritise the delivery of the upgrades.
