Artist Ayad Alqaragholli’s sculpture ‘Hyatti’ takes pride of place in Duncan Reserve. Ayad was offered two sites for the placement of his artwork. To best share his metaphors for ‘love, peace and stability’, he selected Duncan Reserve due to its volume of traffic and visibility to pedestrian and commuter traffic. This bronze work, Hyatti (‘You are my all, my everything’) shows two elongated figures (one male, one female) poised in an upwards embrace expressing the spirit of joy, love and exuberance.
