Children's FOGO workshop

Thursday 22nd January 2026

Looking for an engaging activity that’s both fun and environmentally meaningful? This workshop introduces children to the world of composting and FOGO through interactive games and activities designed to spark curiosity

Here’s what’s in store:

Learn the composting journey
Follow food scraps from the kitchen to FOGO to compost, all through hands-on activities and stories that make the science super fun.

See compost up close!
Peer through a microscope to meet the tiny critters that help break down our food waste.

Make your own newspaper plant pots
Create eco-friendly pots and plant a little seedling in FOGO compost to take home and grow.

Craft a personality-packed compost caddy!
Turn your kitchen caddy into a fun character by crafting eyes, mouths, and funky decorations. Composting is even better with a silly sidekick!

Play waste-sorting games
Test your sorting skills with interactive games that help you learn what goes in which bin and why it matters.

Bookings are essential and can be made online, over the phone or in person.
