Planning a local event but not sure where to start? This practical workshop is designed for community groups and sporting clubs to learn the essentials of running successful community events. From planning and promotion to logistics and risk management, gain the tools, tips, and confidence to bring your next event to life.

Our speaker, Nick Noghan will share his knowledge for attendees to gain access to valuable resources, tools and industry insights, equipping them with the skills needed to deliver memorable and well-organised events. Whether you're a seasoned event planner or new to the field, this workshop offers practical strategies and insider tips to elevate your event planning expertise.

Town of Victoria Park's Bookings and Health teams will also present the requirements and procedures requested by the Town, and where to find relevant documentation.

Location: Makuru Room - Town of Victoria Park Administration Building
Parking: Staff parking will be available for use behind the building (entry off Shepperton Road)
Arrival time: 5pm (for a 5:30pm start)

Light refreshments will be provided.
