The Town’s Local Government Elections were held on Saturday 18 October, with the vote count conducted by the Returning Officer at the Town’s Administration (99 Shepperton Road, Victoria Park).

Four council seats were contested, two seats in Banksia Ward and two in Jarrah Ward.
The position of Mayor will not be contested until 2027.
Banksia Ward
There were three candidates contesting the two available positions.
- Scott Ingram was elected first (until October 2029)
- Lindsay Miles was re-elected second (until October 2029)
Jarrah Ward
There were six candidates contesting the two available positions.
- Andra Biondi was elected first (until October 2029)
- Jack Gordon-Manley was elected second (until October 2029)
Thank you to outgoing Councillors Bronwyn Ife, Jesse Hamer and Peter Devereux for their incredible service to the Town.
Election of the Deputy Mayor and nominations of Council Member representatives to various committees and advisory and working groups will occur on Tuesday 28 October.
Local government elections are held every two years, on the third Saturday in October.
The Mayor and Council Members are each elected for four-year terms, with half of the elected members being elected every biennial election.
The Town of Victoria Park Council is made up of nine Elected Members:
- Mayor – represents the entire district
- Council Members – Banksia Ward (4)
- Council Members – Jarrah Ward (4)
