Koolbardi Dog Park will remain closed for an additional two weeks to allow the newly installed turf more time to establish during the cooler weather.
The temporary extension will help ensure the park provides a safe and durable surface for dogs and their owners to enjoy when it reopens.
In the meantime, dog owners can continue to use John Bissett Reserve as an alternative exercise area.
