National Diabetes Week in the Town

National Diabetes Week is a time to raise awareness about diabetes and support people to better understand risk factors, prevention and healthy living.

To mark the week, the Town is partnering with Diabetes WA to deliver a series of free community events designed to build knowledge and encourage healthy choices.

Diabetes WA Pop‑Ups

Community members are invited to drop in and chat with the Diabetes WA team, access helpful resources and learn more about diabetes prevention and management. No bookings are required.

  • Wednesday 8 July, 9am-12pm – Vic Park Library
  • Monday 20 July, 9am-12pm – Leisurelife

Workshop: Understanding Diabetes and Reducing Your Risk

This free workshop, presented by Diabetes WA, will explore what diabetes is, who is at risk and practical steps you can take to support long‑term health and wellbeing.

  • Wednesday 15 July, 6-7pm – Vic Park Library
