A reminder that household and municipal sprinklers must be turned off from 1 June through to 1 September 2025.
All of the Town's major ovals and smaller parks have been turned off now, with the exception of some very short manual testing to minimise issues at summer start-up.
Please join us in ensuring that your reticulation and watering systems are turned off - gardens and lawns do not need as much water in winter due to lower temperatures and reduced evaporation, and the Water Corporation can issue a $100 on-the-spot fine to those that breach the restrictions (though there are some exemptions to the rules such as new lawn/garden establishment and testing your system for faults).
