Drainage improvement works will commence at 12 Planet Street from 18 May to reduce flooding and improve conditions along this section of road. The upgrades will help minimise water pooling and improve accessibility, particularly during winter and periods of heavy rainfall.
Temporary road closures will be in place between 9.00 am and 2.30 pm. The entire Koolbardi Dog Park will be closed from 18 May for approximately 6–8 weeks to allow drainage upgrades to be completed and new turf to be installed and properly established.
While the dog park is closed, residents are encouraged to visit John Bissett Reserve for exercise and playtime with their four‑legged companions.
These works form part of Council’s commitment to maintaining safe, functional and sustainable roads and public open spaces for the community.
