Town welcomes new Chief Operations Officer
The Town of Victoria Park is pleased to announce the appointment of Alison Luobikis as its new Chief Operations Officer.
Alison joins the Town from the City of Armadale, where she led service delivery in Technical Services. With a career spanning local government, utilities, and mining, she brings a practical, solutions-focused mindset and a genuine passion for making things work better—for teams, for communities, and for the environment.
Before her time at Armadale, Alison held senior roles at Rio Tinto and Water Corporation, where she led strategic procurement, operational analytics, business improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
Chief Executive Officer Carl Askew said Alison’s appointment adds valuable depth to the Town’s executive team. “Alison brings a wealth of experience across sectors and a strong track record of delivering operational excellence. Her leadership style and strategic thinking will be a great asset to the Town and our community,”
Mayor Karen Vernon welcomed Alison on behalf of Council. “We’re delighted to have Alison join the Town. Her experience and energy will help us continue to deliver high-quality services and infrastructure for our residents,”
“I’ve always been drawn to organisations that are serious about making a difference. The Town has an industry reputation for strong community focus and a clear commitment to sustainability and innovation. I’m excited to be part of a team that’s building a better future, one project at a time.” said Alison
