Elizabeth Baillie Park

Elizabeth Baillie Park

Elizabeth Baillie Park is a large leafy park, packed with new amenities. The Park leads to Baillie Hill and the heritage-listed Elizabeth Baillie House.

From February 2025 to March 2026, the Town delivered an $8.1 million upgrade of the park, adding a range of new community facilities with a strong focus on accessibility and supporting people with disabilities.

Key features include:

  • The Mildred Creak Playground, supported by Lotterywest. Designed in collaboration with Autism Association WA, the purpose-built play area caters to the needs of neurodiverse children.
  • An amphitheatre and performance space for community events.
  • New pathways, seating, and BBQ facilities to enhance public amenity.
  • Nature play areas and a dedicated space for indigenous art.
  • A fully accessible toilet block and Changing Places facility.

As the site has only recently reopened to the community, the Town is not currently accepting event bookings at Elizabeth Baillie Park. Over the coming months, we will monitor how the space is used and develop a bookings framework that supports fair, safe and equitable community access.

We appreciate your patience while we establish the best approach for community use of this newly upgraded public space.
