This Plastic Free July, the Town is encouraging our community to take a simple step that can make a big impact: refuse single-use plastic.
As part of our commitment to reducing waste, we've pledged to refuse single-use coffee cups and are encouraging residents, businesses and workplaces to do the same. By choosing a reusable keep cup, travel mug or even your favourite well-loved mug from home, you can help keep disposable cups out of landfill.
Did you know many local cafés offer a discount when you bring your own reusable cup? Simply take your clean keep cup or reusable mug to participating cafés and enjoy your coffee with less waste and, in many cases, a lower price.
