Weed Spraying - broadleaf weeds

For effective control of broadleaf weeds in turf, Council’s spraying contractor will begin broadacre herbicide spraying of the active and passive parks and reserves within the Town, weather permitting, commencing 3 August 2026 for a period of approximately (up to) eight weeks.

Appropriate signage will be displayed on the vehicle, as well as other locations around the park whilst the herbicide is being applied. A non-toxic foam marker will be used and will remain visible for a short period after application. Please keep off the turf until signage is removed and if possible, until the foam markers have dissolved.
