The Summer Street Party is back, with a brand-new look!
This year’s event will touch down on Saturday 29 November from 4-9pm in East Victoria Park, taking place along Albany Highway between Dane/Hampshire Street and Sussex Street North.
To keep everyone safe, a road closure will be in place from 5am to midnight.
This free community celebration will be packed with live entertainment, carnival rides, food trucks, market stalls and activities for all ages.
Are you a local business keen to get involved?
This is a great chance to showcase your business — think street pop-ups, event-day deals, live demos or just opening your doors to the crowd. We’d love to have you on board.
To register your interest, or for more information, contact the Town’s Events Officer by Monday 29 September at events@vicpark.wa.gov.au.

Getting there
Driving
Parking will be limited due to road closures, however there will be spaces available at John Macmillan Park, as well as additional sites in the area. A parking guide will be available closer to the event date so you can plan ahead. As always, we do recommend using alternative transport where possible.
Walking or riding
If you live local, walking down to the party is the best way to go! If you'd prefer to ride your bike, bike racks will be available at usual locations, as well as additional pop-up parking. A map will be available closer to the event date so you can plan ahead.
Public transport
Buses 220, 960, 177 and 178 are the best way to get to the event, but there will be some service disruptions due to the road closures on Albany Highway. To plan your journey, visit Transperth's JourneyPlanner.
Taxi and rideshare
There are plenty of taxi and rideshare options available. For passengers living with disability, there is a taxi service that operates 24 hours a day. It is recommended to book this service 24 hours in advance on (08) 9333 3377.
