A message from Mayor Karen Vernon:

The Town has been made aware of an incident involving hateful graffiti in Welshpool. As soon as we became aware of this graffiti report from a member of the public, it was removed.

The Town strives to be a welcoming and inclusive place for everyone, and we are proud of our continuing commitment to the values of inclusion and diversity.

We want to make it clear that hate speech, discrimination and graffiti in all its forms has no place in our Town, and we will not tolerate such behaviour.

If you see any graffiti around the Town, please report it to us immediately.

Whilst the Snap, Send, Solve App is a useful tool for reporting maintenance issues, as it forwards requests to the relevant local government authority for action, using emails is not the most efficient method for reporting any urgent matters to the Town.

For urgent issues, please contact us by calling our customer service team on 9311 8111 during business hours, or via our service request webpage, linked below.
