Garland Street at McCallum Park is undergoing works for the addition of ACROD bays and associated footpath improvements.
Initial earth works will take place Thursday 4 and Friday 5 June, while concrete installation and reinstatement works will follow Thursday 11 and Friday 12 June (weather permitting).
Works will be conducted primarily off-road within the verge. There will be minor exclusions around the worksite where access may be temporarily restricted. Traffic management personnel will be in place to ensure safe passage past the site where required.
Scope of Works
- Removal of existing verge and kerb at terminus of Garland St.
- Construction of new concrete pavement and footpath.
- Installation of accessible (ACROD) parking bays, signage and line marking.
- Reinstatement and finishing works.
