Joe Higgins (1908-1990) was a Perth City Councillor from 1955 to 1987, becoming a Freeman of the City of Perth.

Higgins Park playground
The Town recently completed stage 1 of the exciting playground upgrades at the park, including:
- Extension of playground area
- New shelters with table seating
- New bench seating
- New BBQ installation
- New water fountain
- New pathways
Stay tuned for stage 2, featuring brand new play equipment and soft fall surfaces. This project is all about creating a bigger play space with improved facilities for our community to enjoy!
