Caretaker Period Public Notice

In accordance with Section 3.73(4) of the Local Government Act 1995 and Regulation 3B of the Local Government (Functions and General) Regulations 1996, the Town of Victoria Park gives local public notice of its intention to undertake a Significant Act during the caretaker period for the upcoming local government elections.
Details of Proposed Act:
The Town intends to execute a contract with Orikan Australia Pty Ltd during the caretaker period pursuant to Council Resolution 83/2025 for the tender TVP-24-38 Integrated Infringement Management System. The aim is to provide an end-to-end infringement management system to assist with the enforcement of local laws. The contract value is approximately $206,590 excluding GST over 3 years and up to approximately $621,847 excluding GST over 9 years (not including any CPI increases).

That Council awards the contract associated with TVP/24/38 Integrated Infringement Management System, to Tenderer C, for implementation and operationalising an end-to-end Infringement Management System (IMS), with the terms and conditions as outlined in the contract, as their offer has been evaluated as the most advantageous to the town.

This action is being undertaken in accordance with Section 3.73(4)(a) of the Local Government Act 1995, as the decision to proceed was made prior to the caretaker period, and all prescribed requirements under Regulation 3 of the Local Government (Functions and General) Regulations 1996 have been met. A copy of this notice has been provided to the Departmental CEO.
