Request for Tender TVP/25/16 Kent Street Sand Pit Restoration Project - Stage One

The Town of Victoria Park is seeking tenders from suitable contractors to undertake Stage 1 works as part of the Kent Street Sand Pit Restoration Project. The Kent Street Sand Pit is a former landfill site that sits adjacent to the Town of Victoria Park’s remnant Bush Forever Banksia Woodland (Kensington Bushland).
The Kent Street Restoration Project, aims to undertake five-star revegetation (in accordance with the SERA National Restoration Standards) on the site, restoring it to Banksia Woodland with approximately 90% of the site being revegetated.
The remainder of the site will enhance the community connections to the space, inclusive of: cultural restoration with yarning spaces and educational nodes to tell Aboriginal stories; universal access ramps; walking trails and bird waterers.

Submissions must be received on or before 2pm (WST) 13 August 2025.
A non-mandatory briefing will be held on site at the corner of Etwell Street and Kent Street, Victoria Park on 23 July 2025 at 1pm.
Late submissions will not be accepted. All or any tenders shall not necessarily be accepted and canvassing of Elected Members and Council officers will automatically disqualify the submission.
