Works notice - Withnell Street and Read Street - Kerbing works and road resurfacing

The Town of Victoria Park will be undertaking the following road works on Withnell and Read Street, East Victoria Park from Monday 20 October to Friday 7 November 2025.

Civil works are scheduled to begin on Monday 20 October, starting with parking upgrades and kerbing, followed by road resurfacing.

During the works, access to and from properties may be restricted, especially between 7am and 6pm. If residents need to use their vehicle during those hours, please make sure it’s parked outside the work area before 7am.

Please note that these dates may shift depending on the weather.

Due to the nature of the works, access to and from your property may be delayed or restricted at times. This is necessary to protect the road surface, driveways, and vehicles, and to ensure everyone’s safety around the work site.

Please follow the directions of our traffic controllers—they’re there to help you move safely in and out of your property. On the morning of the asphalt works, they may also knock on your door to give you a heads-up about access restrictions, usually around 10–15 minutes in advance.

To help us complete the works efficiently and on time, we kindly ask that you keep vehicles off the road, kerb, and verge during this period.
