Overview of Macmillan Precinct Redevelopment Stages Let’s look at our Macmillan Precinct Redevelopment journey so far and what’s coming up next.
Stage 1 (Completed): A community vision for Macmillan Precinct The Town of Victoria Park’s community vision guides the redevelopment of the Macmillan Precinct.
Stage 2 (Completed): Macmillan Precinct Concept Plan The Town of Victoria Park’s Macmillan Precinct Working Group used the community vision to create three future scenarios for the Precinct.
Stage 3 (In progress): Macmillan Precinct Masterplan The Town of Victoria Park and its MacMillan Precinct Working Group are now ready to create a Detailed Masterplan, developed over a number phases.
Macmillan Precinct Masterplan Working Group The Macmillan Precinct Masterplan Working Group will guide the progression of ‘Stage 3 - Masterplan’ with the objective of delivering the Masterplan Report to Council by December 2022.
Stage 4 (In progress): Planning Framework The Planning Framework stage will be developed and implemented concurrently with Stage 3: Detailed Masterplan. This stage will focus on developing agreed design for the Precinct’s Lawn Bowls space.
Future Stages Following completion of Stage 3 and 4, the project will undergo Stage 5 (exploring sustainable delivery options), Stage 6 (planning of Masterplan delivery) and Stage 7 (capital works).
