Night works to replace the existing road surface have been scheduled on Hampshire Street

The Town of Victoria Park has released the report of its investigation into tree removals associated with upgrade works at Elizabeth Baillie Park.

The Town is set to celebrate a major milestone with the opening of the historic Elizabeth Baillie Precinct Redevelopment, the culmination of more than a decade of community consultation, planning and investment, and revitalisation.

On Tuesday 16th December the Town’s contractor will resurface Hampshire Street, East Victoria Park, (between Berwick Street and Devenish Street).

The Town's inaugural Peace Pole has been officially unveiled at Millen Primary School.

On Sunday 30 November, the Town’s contractor will resurface Harper Street between Shepperton Road and Teague Street. Following this, kerbing, footpath and drainage works will be undertaken from early December to late January.

The Town of Victoria Park strongly condemns the Environmental Protection Authority's decision not to undertake any level of review of the State Government’s proposed Burswood racetrack.

This week, the Town completed a review into the landscaping and construction works associated with the Elizabeth Baillie Park upgrade. The review has shown that a number of trees were not adequately protected during construction, resulting in the removal of more trees than originally planned. This outcome falls well short of the Town’s expectation and our community, and we accept full responsibility.

Fom 3 November 2025 the Town will use a new infringement management system.
